I think you should post your idea.

That's great, Wendy! You found another pun that works perfectly well with the next sentences. Bravo!

Hello Mark and France, I've neen wracking my brains over this one and can't yet come up with another word that ressembles 'audition' to allow the play on words to translate to English. As it is 'addition' doesn't make any sense.
Perhaps one could use 'bill, for a play on words.
For example: Because I’m kind of counting on him to foot the bill.
In the next unit one could use: No, not top the bill.
And in Unit94: Foot the bill.
(Top the bill refers to being the leading or most important performer or act in a show, concert).
This would provide the connection to 'acting' in units 95 and 96.

Of course.

Yes, it's often hard and even impossible to translate Martinez's puns.
Can I post ? Because I’m kind of counting on him to pay the addition.

I do agree with you using the translation 'the addition' since that works with 'l'audition' in the next unit and the reference to acting. But I've never heard anyone use 'the addition' for a bill/check/tab in this part of the planet.

I looked on Reverso for the translations of "addition" and bingo I saw that "addition" is an English word too.

Do you agree or isn't it right?

l'addition. Also, the tab.

Because I’m kind of counting on him to cover the bill/check. But that wouldn't work with the subsequent units.
