by markvanroode 3 weeks, 5 days agoHere again it would appear that "have" really should be "hage". Does anyone know of other instances in Norwegian literature where "have" was written instead of "hage"? Or do you know of this being the case in everyday speech? The translation only makes sense if you think of it as "hage" - garden or yard. "Garden" is British and "yard" is American English, usually "front yard" or "back yard". I only know of "hav" used in Norwegian for "sea" or "ocean" and I don't find "have" in any Norwegian dictionary. This looks like another problem with the software used to convert .epub to .pdf. I'll look into that further.
