No me suena bien el final, aunque todo lo que se me ocurre es bastante torpe ¿qué tal : ' tambiÉn y recUPERADO su antiguo temor' / ' tambiÉn, recUPERANDO su antiguo temor' / 'tambiÉn, al que recobraRON su antiguo temor' /tambiÉn, al que otra vez temían'? (ninguna de estas versiones ganaría un premio).
