Please see discussion on unit 4 of kapitel III - "...now that I've found my hard copy of McKay's Modern Norwegian I've found in there a translation of 'losoldermann' - "master-pilot"... I consider the source as authoritative. They go on to translate "losformann" as "Deputy Master-pilot" and "losgutt" as pilot's apprentice so it seems to be part of the terminology used in the profession." So I have gone back to previous occurrences and edited the translations that I did there accordingly.
